Kenji and Sachi Pre-Wedding Photobook, just out from the oven..
Finally setup a home studio to take maternity, family and baby photoshoots. Rather then having to rent a studio for each photoshoot, I though might as well I setup a studio of my own. That way, I can save on the rental and I can offer a better pricing to the Family and Parents to be. As a parent myself, I understand the tight budget constraints families are facing but yet wanting to give the family the best. That’s why I came up with the home studio to make studio shoots more affordable, and the family can go home with high quality pictures that will stay with them for a lifetime.
Here is the brochure for the studio packages. If you are interested in getting your pictures taken in our studio, please feel free to contact us. Our contact details can be located in the online brochure.
Below are the test shots I did with my full time model Rachel (my daughter)..

For the rebranding exercise, I decided to design a photography book (aka coffeetable book) so that in the future I can showcase my photography in a proper manner like most photographers do.
After doing more research, I choose to print the book from blurb as recommended by clubsnappers (www.clubsnap.com). Price is reasonable and best of all you can design the book in Adobe Indesign and send the PDF to them for printing. Initially I wanted to print the book from either Fotohub or Glory Workz but the cost was quite high for me.
Next step is to design the photobook. At first in my mind, the purpose of designing the book is to show clients my pictures from a book rather then showing them on my laptop. So while designing I was like, ok.. just drop my best pictures into the layout and get it printed. Suprising after working on a few pages, I soon realise that it really makes a difference when the pictures are shown in book layout as compare to individual shoots. I was very impressed with the finished book, I am proud to show it during future client meetings.
The order of the book has been sent to blurb, now I am awaiting the book to arrive. Can’t wait to get hold of the book.
Below is the digital copy of the book.

Here is the SHAPES namecard designed by my buddy Ah Seng. Told him I wanted a new classly yet funky design for SHAPES’s logo and namecard. And within 2 weeks it was done. He did a amazing job, I liked the design at first sight.
Lucky I got a friend like him that can design such a nice logo
Next stop, to print out the namecard!!!
